Meira

Designed an end to end user experience for Meitei communities to purchase indegenous fruit and vegetable varieties.

The problem

Non-Meitei customers didn't know what they were ordering. What is its English name? Is it savoury? What vegetable is it? It became apparent that Meira needed a localised version of its site in order to bring in more potential customers and expand the globalisation of Meitei cuisine.

defining the problem
"

As a new customer, I want to know what each food item on the menu is, so that I can make informed decisions and avoid ordering something I won’t enjoy

A user that wants to make informed decisions when shopping
coming up with solutions

Designed in Figma and handed off to the engineer

I decided to make a feature that lets the users start their journey by choosing their preference of taste. This prototype aimed to test functionality, facilitate discussions during the scheduled user interviews and prioritize our resources.

rolling out campaigns

Meira's emails and ads are
visually crafted for clicks.

After breaking out separate variations on Klaviyo, I allocated the budget to the best performing campaigns. The sample audience best responded to animated banners with minimal visual distraction.
